vanessas221 Really really happy with my ducted A/c installation. The quote was thorough and included everything I wanted, the guy who quoted it understood immediately what I was after. They weren’t the cheapest (but not far off the mark) but their system was the best. The guys who installed it were great! Arrived on time, worked diligently and smoothly. And unlike many tradesmen I have had around recently, they weren’t overly loud or rowdy! The whole thing went smoothly from start to finish, and it was actually finished, on the day, when they said it would be (again, unlike other jobs I’ve had recently where “I’ll have to come back to finish that next week” seems to be a common phrase)The system itself seems to be working perfectly. Can’t wait until the really cold and really hot days so I can really try it out. I can’t get over how quiet the daikin ducted system is. You don’t even know it’s on. Perfect for the bedrooms.I definitely recommend maroondah heating and cooling!

All the staff we dealt with at Maroondah Heating and Cooling were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We were undecided at first about what type of cooling system we wanted installed. Michael came out and assessed the layout of our home and talked us through the options to find something that suited both our needs and our budget. The installation and electrical work was carried out in one day and the guys even cleaned up after themselves (they brought their own vacuum cleaner!). They were on time and their courtesy, professionalism and work was exemplary (Luke was who I dealt with and I can’t remember the other person’s name). I initially inquired about issues with my old gas ducted heating system and refreshingly there was no 'up sell' involved. Once the heating was fixed, I used them for a multi room split system installation and was very impressed with the product knowledge and willingness to work with me through various options. Installation was excellent - done in a day and no mess left. I would highly recommend.

gerardc380From quote to install they were excellent.Dean spent well over an hour on the quote, discussing our requirements, checking underneath the house and measured all rooms to ensure the correct unit and associated services were quoted.Wade and his team of 2 other installers – arrived on time , were professional, courteous, and clean (Took their boots off when ever in the house and vacuumed and cleaned up after them). The completed the install (heater and new ducting) in one day and took the old unit, ducting and any rubbish with them. They took pains to ensure that the enlarged return air grill & Box took minimum space in the linen Closet and was finished off professionally. Payment was easy and no hassle. Given my experience I would certainly recommend to anyone considering purchasing a gas ducted heater.

The first contact was very Professional, and as the process of accessing & replacing our 25 year old Brivis Ducted Heating Unit unfolded, the professionalism of the Team was great. John and GayeThe weather didn’t help at first but held up for what turned into quite a big job. The boys didn’t leave until after 6 last night. We were impressed by the professionalism shown by all who entered our home and the respect they showed towards it, especially given the wet conditions. Nothing was any trouble and they certainly gave us no cause for concern, a big “Thank you” to all of them.The finished product looks really good (glad we renewed the evap cooling vents). The outdoor unit doesn’t look out of place and there is still room to get around it even though it is off the wall a bit. The true test for the air conditioning is next summer of course, but the initial running up of the heater was something else. We can’t remember actually being warm in our house! The warmth was all but instant and comfort levels reached very quickly. So far so good then, we are pleased to have chosen the units we have, we think they make a good combination. Mike I recently had a ducted heating and evaporative system installed by Dean and his team at Maroondah Heating and Cooling.My evaporative application was a difficult and complicated installation. The unit needed to cool a single room of approximately 18metres long, 6 metres wide and 3 metres high. The room has cathedral ceilings with exposed beams and exposed corrugated roofing with no roof cavity.There were a number of potential issues such as unit and airflow noise, balance of the airflow as well as the number and aesthetics of the outlets. I had 4 of the other larger companies refuse to undertake the job due to the difficulties in planning and installing the right unit to overcome the above issues. It was just too hard for them.Dean came highly recommended by a plumber friend of mine.I was ecstatic with the enthusiasm and professionalism, as well as being pleasantly surprised at the pride and effort taken by Dean and his team in the planning and the actual installation of the most suitable unit to ensure the system worked and looked as I wanted it to.The ducted heating unit, whilst a basic installation was also installed to a very high standard and works very ...

Anonymous Extremely professional and high quality service all round when I recently had a new Daikin split system installed in my kitchen/dining area by Maroondah Heating and Cooling. Dean who did the quote came right on time, and was very patient and detailed explaining my options and answering all my questions. The price was the most competitive of three quotes I obtained. Roger and the electricians who did the installation did a fantastic job, in what was a difficult installation with challenging access and lots of existing piping to work around. They did an extremely neat and careful finish, and communicated really well in checking in with me as to whether I was happy with the location and appearance of all the new pipes and ductwork. They left the site really tidy and took all the rubbish, so that you'd never know they were there. I received the electricial compliance certificate within a day or two. The staff in the office were all really helpful, prompt and professional. Highly recommended on every level.

annetter916 Maroondah Heating & Cooling installed a Braemar Ducted Heating unit for us a few months back and we were so delighted with their service we had no hesitation in calling them again when our Breezaire Ducted Cooling failed after 29 very good years. We had them supply and instal a new larger Breezaire and the service was equally as good as the first time. The installers were prompt, very respectful of the house and very clean in their working manner. We would not use anyone other than Maroondah Heating and Cooling and recommend them highly.
Jim Bought an Actron air conditioner and Brivis gas ducted heater. Very happy with the performance of the units, and with the service (both the quote and installation). Price was also more competitive than the main other contender.

Ev Hi Stuart, I just wanted to take the time to thank you and the team for a great service. The installation was performed on Tuesday and took less than a day. The property is effectively a triple storey town house with no access to the rear courtyard other than to go through the house – so it made it challenging! The heater was installed under the house and the ~130 kg add-on in the rear courtyard. Dean was thorough with his assessment, great to deal with, provided value-add suggestions (which I took on-board) and constantly kept me informed along the way on the design and cost even after I requested a late change to the initial design and after the initial quote. It was his practical approach, honesty and his ability to identify opportunities for the customer that resonated with me. Dayle led the installation at the property. The installation was efficiently executed and the team was very mindful of not leaving the floors and walls dirty (even though it didn’t bother me – collateral damage as far as I am concerned). Anonymous We just got a Braemer evaporative cooler installed. We highly recommend Maroondah Heating and cooling for any heating or cooling installation. They were highly professional and infact they came to install just 3 days after Christmas. Mr Dean came to give a quote and he was extremely professional. Dave just came over, did an inspection and offered to replace my complete system including ducts with added zones etc, with a Brivis one. A date was fixed and price agreed upon. Jack I had a heating unit replaced recently, although the price was not the best but reasonable and the service was just brilliant! First, Paul who provided onsite quotation had thoroughly explained the replacement procedure and figured out a way to best install the unit, and this is really reassuring! On the day of installation, I had Luke came over, He s work was way beyond my expectation! He got rid of the old unit, leveled and paved the floor, installed new unit and even replaced nearly half of the duct (which was not included in the quoto,just because I asked if he can clean the front end of the duct and he replaced nearly 10 m duct! MickBob Our heater died in the middle of winter, and having a 6 month old baby, we wanted a new heater ASAP. They were Fantastic, they understood my concern with not having heating. I rang them at 4pm had a salesman at my house 8am the next day and installed the heater that day. The plumber that did the job, worked in the pouring rain to do the work, and as a result the inside of the heater got wet, so he stood there with a hairdryer under a brollie to dry it out and said "i wont be leaving till it is dry and safe to run". The job took a few hours longer than normal due to the weather.Some company's i rang said they will be able to come and have a look on Monday, and install Tuesday or Wednesday. But for this company within 24hours !!

neverperfect These guys ripped out and replaced my gas wall heater, and changed over my gas hot water system to an instant system.I found them to be good operators - reasonable prices, all contractors showed up on time, and were good to deal with. They also took the time to explain everything along the way. I've had the equipment installed and working for about 9 months now and everything has run well.

Bob Scott Our ducted heating service broke down with only 4 days to settlement and final inspection on our house we sold, causing us mega stress. Luckily the technician who came to check the old unit recommended Maroondah Heating and Cooling. Their representative, Kirk, came out first thing the morning after our distressed phone call, quoted on the replacement system, took photos of where the unit was supposed to go in the roof and the next morning at 8 am Danny and Sam came to install the new unit, knowing exactly where the unit was to go and what to expect because of the photos. They had to go in through the roof, took out the old unit, installed the new one and connected up to the existing ducts. They were very efficient and clean, I was worried about damaging internal ceilings or walls that close to final inspection (which had happened previously when tradesman were up in the roof cavity) but not a single mark. The guys even removed their workbooks before entering the house so they would not mark the carpet! They also took away the old system, so not a trace was left of any work being done at ...

daniem1 Our ducted heating unit ended up with water damage after last weeks hail storm so needed replacing. I didn't hesitate to call Maroondah heating & cooling as I've used them in the past, they have always been exceptional. Half an hour after my call Kirk arrived to give me a quote, he said the earliest they could install was Friday, 2 days away. After he'd left I called the office to book in the replacement, I explained I have one year old twins & that replacing the heater was an emergency. I was told they would call me back to book it in when Kirk returned with the paperwork. 15 mins later they called to say they had reshuffled Wednesdays bookings around so they could come out that day between 12-1pm to install the new ducted heating! They arrived just after 12pm & 2 hours later it was all done! Exceptional, outstanding service.

It did take some time to commission the A/C unit, but Maroondah heating took ownership of the problem and worked around my schedule.My only negative is that I requested a quote for complete installation, which I received and accepted, but then I was asked to prepare the ground for A/C install. i.e. Level the ground and provide concrete slab.After some 'negotiation', and a delay to the install, we met half way where I levelled the ground but Maroondah heating provided the concrete slab.Overall the system is working well, they came up with a design that other suppliers couldn't, and despite the hiccups I am still happy with the service. Also the team that came out to do the work were friendly, respectful, and left the site clean. I wish I could say that for other trades.I would definitely use them again, but I would be a little more diligent when checking what is and isn't included in the quote.Approximate cost: $15000

My wife and I cannot praise too highly Dean and John for their work and commitment in doing an excellent job. Its certainly the first time we have seen tradesmen turning up with their own vacuum cleaner!
